With help from Ms. Kim and Ms. Chou, students celebrated Choseuk (Korean Thanksgiving) in Hooper on September 13th with lots of food and good company.

Two trips went out last weekend to Din Tai Fung in Aracadia for dumplings, rice cakes, "appetizer", sweet rice, spicy soup, and so much more.

Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

Students gathered outside Hooper on September 12th to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival with moon cakes and music.

Eid Dinner

In August, we celebrated the end of Ramadan with a special Eid formal dinner. Members of the Muslim club joined with our international liaisons to explain the importance of fasting in the Muslim tradition and the history of the celebration of Eid in the American White House. Our special thanks to Mrs. Albadawi for helping us to choose the recipes and arrange the dinner.
